What it proves
Why hybrid retrieval plus reranking beats either keyword or vector search alone — and why an answer should carry its citations.
How it works
- Keyword and vector scores are blended by a weight you control, or fused with Reciprocal Rank Fusion.
- A reranker re-scores the shortlist against a relevance prior.
- Each answer sentence points at the passage that supports it; confidence drops to 'needs review' when coverage is thin.
